MGallery Collection signs new property in Chengdu and will double its portfolio in Greater China in 2024 with five key hotel openings

Accor is pleased to announce the signing of a radiant new MGallery Hotel Collection address in Chengdu. Chengdu Financial City – MGallery Collection will open in 2026, in the vibrant central business district of the city, with dazzling views overlooking the banks of the Jinjiang River. Chengdu Financial City – MGallery Collection will be the third hotel in the Chengdu area for the MGallery brand, joining Ocean Spring Resort Chengdu – MGallery and the soon-to-open Chengdu Expo Waterfall Hotel – MGallery later this year. The signing of Chengdu Financial City – MGallery comes as Accor is set to open five MGallery hotels in Greater China in the coming months, doubling the brand’s portfolio in the country from its current five hotels in operation to 10 by the end of the year.

Chengdu Expo Waterfall Hotel - MGallery Collection

Opening July 2024

Residing in the 2024 Chengdu World Horticultural Expo Exhibition Park, Chengdu Expo Waterfall Hotel – MGallery Collection will celebrate the abundant natural advantages of Chengdu and the rich fascinations of Sichuan culture. Situated in the Eastern New District of Chengdu, Jianyang City, the 172-room hotel is an architectural marvel surrounded by breathtaking waterfalls, verdant gardens, botanical landscapes, and ecological preserves. The Hot Spring building is designed as two interlocking rings, with rooms featuring access to hot springs, while the Main building is designed to give all rooms access to stunning views of the waterfalls and lake. The graceful experience of mountain and water elements among a serene garden life unfolds gently throughout the hotel, offering a multi-sensory interpretation of the ‘Land of Abundance’.

Dangkou Ancient Town Hotel Wuxi - MGallery Collection

Opening September 2024

Serene, beautiful, and historically significant, Dangkou Ancient Town Hotel Wuxi – MGallery Collection resides in the Ehu Town of Xishan District, Wuxi City, among a traditional Jiangnan-style water town replete with winding streams, elegant bridges, and tranquil scenery. Dangkou Ancient Town is famous for its culture of piety passed down from the Eastern Han Dynasty. MGallery is filling the grand halls of the former private residence of Grand Secretary Hua Cha with the brand’s exclusive boutique hotel experience. The prestigious mansion features intricately carved beams, painted rafters, and architectural features of the Ming Dynasty. The hotel aims to provide an experience of culture and grace, on par with that of honored guests in a noble mansion, while drawing inspiration from the poetic works of the Hua family. The design emphasizes artistic expression, traditional poetic elements, and modern aesthetics.

Ming Hotel Nanjing - MGallery Collection

Host of Shenzhen Fashion Week, the neighborhood occupies the northern part of Longhua District, in the heart of the city. Bespoke design, creative mixology, and thoughtful self-care rituals will delight cultivated and artistically-inclined guests of Fashion Town Hotel Shenzhen – MGallery Collection. Designed by the acclaimed Architectural Design and Research Institute of Harbin Institute of Technology, the hotel will feature 250 designer rooms and suites, numerous high-end restaurants and lounges, and a complete well-being experience with a fitness center, swimming pool and sumptuous spa.
