Landmark Hotel has appointed Douglas Glen as its hotel manager and area director of F&B for Landmark Lancaster Hotel Group, the group’s managing director, Jatuporn Sihanatkathakul, announced last week. Mr Glen’s will be responsible for The Landmark Bangkok, as the hotel manager and oversee food & beverage of Lancaster Bangkok, an upcoming sister hotel due to soft-open during the second-half of 2013. Mr Glen is has worked in the hotel industry for 25 years mainly in five-star hotels including 13 years with Landmark London, where he held various management positions, including hotel manager and director of conference & banqueting. He has worked with Lancaster London as its banqueting manager and before joining the group’s hotels in London worked for the London Hilton Park Lane, Hyatt Carlton Tower, London and Grosvenor House Hotel, London. Landmark Lancaster Hotel Group owns and operates hotels of the same names, as well as the K West brand in both London and Bangkok.
